Designed for a soft light falloff, the Gdx Parabolic softbox is designed for those who value detailed illumination in photography and videography. Its innovative mounting system allows for quick setup and teardown. As easy as opening and closing a traditional umbrella, you can set up your softbox in seconds. The inside of the softbox is lined with a specially designed pebbled silver material. The smooth silver material can create significant hot spots in the light output, making it difficult to use without a diffuser. The unique design of the pebbled silver material in our Gdx parabolic softbox diffuses the light, resulting in a more consistent light while maintaining maximum light output. This is especially important when shooting in bright sunlight, when you need to get the most out of your lights.

The exterior is made of a tough, flexible material that's tear- and water-resistant. It features two layers of diffusion that are easy to clean. This is especially important for outdoor use. When used with a grid, you'll have extreme control over your light distribution.

Using it with or without a diffuser, you can produce sharp, clear light that's great for showing the shape and texture of your subject. For softer light, add the inner diffuser.

For even softer light, use both the inner diffuser and the grid.
